These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of thesoftballnation.com (the “Site”), participation in our camps, showcases, and events, and use of the Softball Nation Recruiting mobile application (the “App”).
By accessing or using the Site or App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using our Site or App.
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the Site or participation in events constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the Site, downloading or using the App, or participating in any of our services, events, or showcases, you agree to:

2. Eligibility
Event Eligibility
Participation in camps, showcases, and recruiting events may require specific age groups, grade levels, or athletic criteria. By registering, you confirm that:
All submitted information is accurate
You meet all posted age or eligibility requirements
If under 18, a parent or guardian has approved participation
App Eligibility
To use the App, you must be:
At least 13 years old, or
Have parental/guardian consent if under 18
College coaches and recruiters must attest to being affiliated with a legitimate education institution.
3. Registration & Payments
By registering for events or using paid services on the Site or App, you agree that:
All registration information must be truthful and accurate
Payments must be made in full before participation
Fees are generally non-refundable, unless stated in the event-specific policy
Chargebacks or fraudulent activity may result in account suspension
Payments may be processed through third-party providers (e.g., Stripe).
4. Code of Conduct
Athletes, parents, spectators, and recruiters must conduct themselves respectfully.
Prohibited behaviors include:
Harassment, abuse, or discrimination
Unsportsmanlike or disruptive conduct
Violations of event rules or instructions
Misuse of athlete information
Attempted hacking, tampering, or unauthorized access to the Site or App

By registering, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
Softball Nation Recruiting, LLC is not responsible for injuries, damages, or losses incurred during participation in events, or through use of the Site or App.
We are not liable for data loss, unauthorized access, missed recruiting opportunities, or actions taken by third-party coaches, athletes, or users.
Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid for the event or service.
Certain jurisdictions do not allow all limitations; however, our liability will always be limited to the fullest extent permitted by Iowa law.

9. App Usage, Accounts, Profiles & App Store/Google Play Requirements
Athlete Profiles
Athletes may create profiles in the App that include:
Graduation year
Location (city/state)
High school or club team
Primary and secondary positions
Contact information (email/phone)
Statistics, videos, or athletic metrics
By creating an athlete profile, you authorize this information to be viewed by verified college coaches and recruiters. Sharing this information is a core function of the App.
Coach & Recruiter Accounts
Coaches and recruiters agree to:
Use athlete data solely for legitimate recruiting purposes
Follow NCAA/NAIA/NJCAA compliance rules
Not misuse or resell athlete information
Treat all athletes respectfully and professionally
Account Responsibility
Users are responsible for:
Maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials
All activity that occurs under their account
Immediately notifying us of unauthorized access
We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.
APP Store & Google Play Requirements
By downloading the App from Apple or Google, you also agree to:

Google Play Terms of Service
You acknowledge that:
Apple and Google are not responsible for maintaining the App
They provide no warranties for the App
They are not liable for any claims related to the App

These terms apply when the App is installed on any iOS or Android device.
10. Termination:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Site, App, events, or services at any time for:
Violations of these Terms
Fraudulent activity
Misuse of information
Behavior that endangers others
Non-payment or chargebacks
